Brand new blog, needs a first post.
Hi, everyone! I'm Duke, glad you're here.
If you're reading this, you're either a manbaby nerdboi who thinks they know better than I do and wants to fight on the internet, or you're a member of a disenfranchised minority who feels like they don't have a voice and was directed to this site by a like-minded individual. In either case, welcome! I reckon the folks in the latter group will enjoy their stay here a lot more than the former.
This blog is mostly going to be reviews, mostly of movies, from the perspective of a young, privileged white male member of the middle class.

I recognize my privilege, and am reminded of it every day. I consume a lot of media, and while I am incredibly well-represented in said media, anyone who doesn't look like me is not. So when I review movies or other forms of entertainment, I try my best to look at it from the perspective of someone not me.
Anything that makes nerdbois angry I will happily vote with my dollars for.
Incels up in arms about the newest all-female Lord of the Rings? Count me in.
Racists pissed about the lack of white dudes in a movie set in East Africa? I'm there.
Comic nerds whining about female Thor even though they clearly don't read enough comics? Duke's got it handled.
